Pipe Population Discrepancy Analysis: A Key Element in the Verification of Pipeline Material Properties
The creation and retention of accurate records reflecting the makeup of a pipeline is a critical aspect of pipeline safety. In the U.S., recent rule changes in 49 CFR 192 provide guidance on the verification of pipeline material properties to establish traceable, verifiable, and complete (TVC) material property records for each segment of a pipeline.
